From 23 Years Inside IKEA to Coaching Leaders Through Transformation
For over three decades, including 23 years at IKEA, I led teams, launched businesses, and navigated the messy reality of global transformation. I saw brilliant strategies stall, aligned teams drift apart, and capable leaders lose themselves under complexity.
The pattern was always the same, a clarity gap between intention and action.
Today, I work with senior executives and founders who refuse to let that happen on their watch. Through the MOSO approach, and the methodology behind my book The Clarity Gap, I help leaders reconnect strategy, culture, and self, so transformations actually stick.
Deep Roots Before Visible Growth
MOSO is named after the Chinese MOSO bamboo. For up to five years after the seed is planted, nothing visible happens above ground. Then, almost overnight, it grows up to a metre per day, reaching 27 metres in six weeks.
That explosive growth is only possible because of the roots built in silence, underground, long before anyone could see them.
Leadership works the same way. The transformations that last, the careers that compound, the cultures that endure — they’re all built on roots most people never see: clarity of values, conviction in purpose, and the discipline to align action with both.
